NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS 2021(STEP BY STEP GUIDE)

Happy new year! New years come with yet another opportunity to be better, learn and grow. Here's a step by step guide on how I came up with my 2021 resolutions

1.Identify key areas in your life you want to work on

Personally, I categorize my life in five different areas. These are, Spiritual ,Physical and mental health, Academics, Social and Financial areas.

Spiritual-This basically entails my relationship with God, what spiritual disciplines do I need to practice more this year that I didn't practice in 2020, it could be consistency in reading the word.

Physical and mental health-Generally taking care of my body, eating healthy, working out, getting enough sleep, traveling.

Academics-I'm still in campus taking my undergraduate degree so this area is very key in my life since I spend most of my time in school and it determines my success in my future career.

Social-Relationships with friends, family and loved ones. I believe in building healthy relationships with people you have around you. Cutting off toxic people and living the best life.

Financial-Saving and investing my money

2.Come up with a clear plan on how to make it work in each area

I prefer  working with short term goals that in the long run will lead to long term ones. A journey of a thousand steps begins with a single step!

I use a planner to help me work it out, A diary for everyday planning of activities and an app to remind me or when I can't get hold of my diary.
